Flags of Freedom– My first NFT project, 100% of proceeds to Ukraine
I've been trying to figure out how I can participate in the effort to help Ukraine. I don't know anything about geopolitics or war, but I do know about tech and design. And I'd been looking for a good reason to get into NFTs– so here I am!
The project is called Flags of Freedom, and the first flag is an image of the Ukrainian flag with the Ethereum symbol over it.
It's meant to be a testament to the web3 community and its willingness and ability to rally behind Ukraine. Even in light of such an atrocity, there is a spirit and energy that is undeniable– even from those inside the Ukrainian government who are putting out a rally cry into the world of crypto, namely Mykhailo Fedorov, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
There are two types of NFTs. The first is ETH4UKR which is openly available for .02 ETH (~$50 USD).
There is also a 1/1 version of the flag called OG ETH4UKR that will go to the highest bidder, with a starting price of 1 ETH.
If all goes well, I hope to add more flags over time for different causes.
